झुग्गियाँ में, झोपड़ियों में ,
एकता में विश्वास रखते थे,
मानव थे वो, मानता को पूजा करते थे,
घर छोटे हुआ करते थे, लोगों को दिलों में बसाया करते थे,
सादगी भरी जिंदगी थी ,मिलजुलकर बिताया करते थे ,
अब नया रूप है ज़माने का ,
चसका है दोनों हाथों से कमाने का,
अब आलीशान मकानों में जिंदगी बसर करते हैँ, ,
दिलों के दायरे अब सिकुड़ते हुए से लगते हैं,
पैसे-दौलत को लोग मज़हब समान रखते हैं ,
बस अपने काम से मतलब रखते, हैँ और मतलब का काम करते हैं ,
एकता को ताक पर रखकर लोग अमन और शांति का अरमान रखते हैं |

The ethereal beauty lingering in the sky
Lanterns of unity soaring high
With a maple following from behind
Each carrying promises and wishes alongside
As to the myths, they decided
Whether to fall or take a long glide
Two hearts it connects they say
With the wind they love to play
The flame of excitement inside
Allowing them to fly up and wide
The beauty in their simplicity
No hatred can hide.
