मै तो चैन से सो जाता था खुद को कोसकर
पता नही क्यों उसने आकर ख़ुदग़र्ज़ बना दिया
मै तो ऐसे ही खुश था चंद शब्दों के घेरे में
पता नहीं क्यों उसने आकर दामन भर थमा दिया
मै तो पहले भी हर लम्हा जैसे तैसे गुजारता था
पता नही क्यों उसने जाकर उन्हें सालों बना दिया

अनजाने मैं कई गलतियां की है मैंने
तो कुछ तो सिख दे कर ही तो उसने छोड़ा होगा
अगर दूसरा मौका मिला है मुझे
तो कुछ सोच समझकर ही तो उसने दिया होगा
