    Grandfather Is Dying

An ancient race and wet night dream for country men
Lingers in an existential background of a mimicry
Of sorts. A trance look at Pharaoh ostensibly enough
For a man's content to die from "self-inflicted"/harakiri.

A vague dream of a rustic embrace of an oldster
In a blurred background of yellow autumn leaves
Dreads over a mundane ask for an elevated living
Burdened with a smile and sold with a laugh.

Grave decaying, tomb meaningless, pride broken,
A walk in Giza along a pyramid that says
    Menkaure is Divine.

    Dust.
