    Unpopular opinion #1

    It's funny how we often try to force order and rhythm when life is nothing but a guesswork

    She said, "I'm Fine"
    Tissues in her trash can said, "no she's not."

    Vulnerability

    Being vulnerable with someone other than my paper is the hardest thing I've done in my life.

    Old works from my draft. I'm grateful to be in a better headspace now. My heart goes out to all those who could relate to this piece of poem. Never give up. You'd get to a good place eventually.

    Fine

    Just a little pain;
    Along with some mental strain;
    I was pretending to be fine;
    I won the pretension game;
    But my heart is still in shame.

    I am a fighter,

    Past tense

    It hurts to lose someone. But not as much as, the way it does while, referring to them in the past tense for the first time.

    Death

    He was worth more than a pointless Instagram post saying "Rip"
    He was worth more than any recounted stories from distant memories
    He was worth more than the tears we'd shed before it could fade into oblivion.
    He was worth more than any number of lines my pen could write about him,
    He was worthy of this life that was taken away from him so soon...
