Brave is a feeling...
When to be angry and valour
And
When to be silent and calm
To handle the situation.
Brave is the one who handles the situation sometimes as cool as calm and sometimes as hot as a fire.

One of the first few questions you come across after talking to a stranger is " Where are you from ? " Isn't it? And though we have always been mentioning our hometown as an answer to the above question, if you analyse deeply you will realise that this question asks for so much more than just a place. It seeks to know your roots and the address of your soul.
--Today, write a creative answer to the above question in the form of a poem or quote--

Toru Dutt in the poem "Our Casuarina Tree" explains how the tree continued to hold an important place in her heart even after she grew up because she along with her siblings who are no more, had spent happy moments under it during childhood. The poem speaks volumes about how memories play an important role in our lives.

The invention of Printing press in the 15th century brought a revolution across the globe because it enabled knowledge sharing more quickly and widely. Since then civilisations never looked back. But today, try imagining a world without books!

2001: Let's have no arms in our arms.
Cut the strings of puppet master
and terror.
2002: Hope for bright daylight in our darkest
hours. Light candles and follow it's path.
2003: Even if we fall for 9 times, we'll stand for
the 10th. Concrete our wills so that no
knife could break.
2004: Be planned without any plan. Make maps
for today but not for tomorrow, to make
the present good, better and best.
2005: Not hurt others or get hurt by others.
For self love is all that matters.
2006: Plant a green sapling for my siblings.
And nurture the mother nature like I am
one of her child.
2007: Play symphonies of encouragement and
and strength to all youngs and olds I
know.
2008: Smile in my saddest hours. So that I don't
choke when I dance with a broken leg.
2009: Enjoy your journey without caring about
the fruits of destination.
2010: Try to unlearn old lessons of the society.
Unlearn so that you can learn new.
2011: Send the letters of peace to every corner
of the world.
2012: Remove the cloak of gilded material
progress and take a step to intellectual
and spiritual progress.
2013: You are special and so are all. Stop
running the race of racism, make a
long jump for equal respect to all
beautiful skins.
2014: As the temperature is ever increasing,
make green your favourite colour in
practice.
2015: Don't hunt for love. It is within you, around
you. The love will find you and embrace.
2016: Bricks and mortar will only build a house,
love and care will make a home of
flowers and meals.
2017: Filter your soul and thoughts. For each
day is a new beginning, drive out the
toxicity from your young or old mind.
Mental health is wealth.
2018: Make choices as challenges are like tides
but you have to be strong as the soil
and make print of your transient feet
each time.
2019: Don't count the years you have lived
but the life. Don't blow the candles, try
make the candle from wax.
2020: Forget not your roots for they are what
holds you. Come out from the digital
world and make real friends because
who knows when we might face a global
lockdown again. Let's learn from the
crisis.
2021: There is beauty in death. A call from up
above nothing in our hands. No mourning
or cries would bring back the loss. Life
goes on, let's move on.

Travel writing has been an important part of both history and literature ever since men started travelling and recording their experiences of new places. These accounts give a clear picture of life in a particular region. But travel writings are not just read for information. They are a source of experiencing the thrill and joys of travelling far away places without leaving home.
--Today, write a micro travelogue--
Describe your favourite travel experience in words. You can also write about your hometown or city.
Tag with #travelogue and share.
