ये सर्दियों का मौसम जाने क्यों प्यार का मौसम लगता है ?
वो हवा के हर झोंके पर ठिठुरती,
चाय की वो गर्म प्याली बड़े चाव से पकड़ती
सर्द कपकपाते होंठों से गर्म धुआं निकालती...
मैं जाने क्यों उसके बातूनी आंखों की खामोशियां पढ़ने लगा था,
मैं अचानक उसके खूबसूरत हाथों की पुकार जानने लगा था
और अब समझ सा चुका था उसके भीतर की तन्हाइयां,
जिन्हे मेरी ज़रूरत थी...
ऐसे ही एक सर्द रात को वो बोली,
यहां से नैनीताल की बस सुबह ५ बजे निकलती है, मैं चाहूंगी तुम भी आओ ?
मै मुस्कुराया, अपने ज़हन में मॉल रोड पर हाथों में हाथ थामें खुद को उसके साथ देखने लगा था यूं...
यूं मानो मैंने अपनी ही एक दुनिया बसा ली हो...
चंद लम्हों में जी भी ली, और तभी आई एक आवाज़, "कहां खो गए शिशिर ?! चलो !! ", उसकी हंसी ने मुझे खयालों से बाहर लाया ।
मैंने कई दिनों बाद दफ्तर से छुट्टी ले ली ।
बस में बैठा मैं सोचने लगा...
