    I was a double gamer.
    I received flaks for polygamy.
While I roamed the town with my Man at day,
At night, I belonged to my other one.
I was ecstatic of receiving expensive gifts
But I was insanely attracted to my other.
While I made love with him at night,
I was under bloody scrutiny of my other.
While I looked into his deep grey eyes,
I saw the spark of my other, seated up above in the sky.
I saw my other always at night.
I was a wild cat smitten in love at night.
    Because, when night falls,
My other, my Moon, smiles upon me calmly,
While I sit doubting my own love.

    Granny's Rasam

Typical of a South Indian lady,
She keeps her special spices for the best.
Amma's wedding speciality was Granny's "Kootu",
Aunt's baby shower was filled with the aromatic "Mysore Pak"
Uncle's first day at office was a success due to Granny's lunchbox.
Now, it was my turn to ask.
Working her hands on the coconut chutney,
She replied, "Make me happy. I'll cook for you too dear."
Endless hours passed but I did nothing.
    I never did anything celebratory.
    I came back home, sad.
I could smell something really mood uplifting.
    It was Rasam.
    It was Granny's Rasam.
    But who deserved it?
She brought the bowl to me and said:
Come what may, my special spices
Have a special corner for your special efforts.
I wondered as to what I did and she said:
    You made people smile.
    You brighten up people's mood.
You help the unheard to be heard.
    And most importantly,
    You make my day everyday.
Isn't that enough for a treat?

    I love the Sky
    Very subtle and pale
Like in my dreams and reality.

    I will dream
    About colourful cotton clouds
And pastel pink sky as the canvas.

Slivers of the rainbow gently falls over
To kiss the fresh ground but piously.
The path full of colours and light,
Lead me to Nature's poems of warmth.
How should I praise thee, O Lord
For penning a melody of Green Love?
All I have are a few tears.

    I could bleed the world
    And tear the skyline apart
To prove my heart beats for You.

    It must be October, for
    The petrichor smells vibrant
Amidst the cemetery of dead poets
And your valiant love still blooming
Into a blossom of pure Love.

    Bliss

    Benevolence oozed out
    Betwixt poetic pomp.
    Billions lay awake
    Buying ideas from
    Buried poets of guilt.
    But only they don't know
'Bout the hearts of lost poems

    Melancholy hues
    Were vomited to paint pain
    Onto the canvas
    As an epitaph of Truth
    While greedy colours blotted.

I zoomed off to the wonderland (again)
While sitting in a Math class
And counted the tiny gazillion stars that greeted me,
Those asteroids which raced with me,
The rabbit flying with its ears saluting me,
    The Full moon doing pirouette,
Those underground tadpoles welcoming me all the way,
Leading me to the tunes of my symphony
And landing safely onto the Chocolate Ocean.

Coming back was not a long journey at all.
It was just a duster thrown straight at my head.

You once told me Love is like a canary bird,
Hold it too tight, it will die
Hold it too loose, it will fly
Like a dream so well caressed but now broken.

You once told me to engulf you in my huge arms,
I held you too close inside my ribs in my heart.
But you suffocated, gasping for breath
And unclasped yourself away from me.

You once told me to give you your Freedom
Which I very happily made room for,
And yearned for a libertarian victory of our relationship.
But it was too late to catch you back.

    You had flown away.
