Hello reader,lemmie ask you a serious question?
Coz there's something that needs your attention!
For there are some individuals that I need to mention
Who have so blessed your life in straight succession
So I will mention them now in this poetic expression
As you've forgotten some of them in lifes progression
As you were being born do you know who cared?
Remember who bathed you?combed your hair?
As a baby you were dependant,so who was there?
Somebody fed you,who gave you clothes to wear?
Who changed your soiled nappies,sat you in a chair?
Remember as a baby crying? Who said "there there?"
In your past life it's hard to remember this dimension
We remember key persons,key events of intervention
Yet baby memories are often beyond comprehension
Those who cared for us deserve an honourable mention
Coz if nobody cared you'd die without this caring attention
"Remember someone else got you through your
babyhood it wasn't you
Someone else wiped your mouth,they did things
you couldn't do
Tell me can you fully remember your babyhood?
What date did u first chew?
These are the thankless heroes who helped
you become you,it's true
Your parents,family members,strangers and friends
They cared for the helpless you!"

as you do today in this land..

Some of them were lucky to survive every single battle, the others were luckier, for they fell in war...they went down fighting... They were beaten by their adversaries, not by time and age...��
इस आरामदेह मंचक पर पड़ा हूँ
निर्बल, जर्जर किंतु मृत नहीं हूँ
मृत्यु का दूत कुछ ही अंतर पर है
मेरी साँसें बंद करने की शीघ्रता है उसे भी
मेरी लंबी यात्रा का मुझे स्मरण करना है
और किसी उत्तराधिकारी को चुनना है
कठिनाई से अक्षर पढ़ पाता था मैं
परंतु तलवार से निबंध लिख चुका हूँ
मैं कितनों के वक्षःस्थल भेद चुका हूँ
और शीश काट चुका हूँ
कृ्द्ध वनराज से उसकी कंदरा में द्वंद्व कर चुका हूँ
मेरे शरीर पर ये जो चोटों के अगणित व्रण हैं
यही तो मेरे पुरस्कार हैं जो उच्च स्वर में
मेरे रणवीर होने की घोषणा करते हैं
कोई चोट इतनी गंभीर नहीं थी जिससे मेरी मृत्यु हो
और पराजय क्या होती है मैं नहीं जानता था
परंतु अब दुःखी होता हूँ इस विचार से
कि एक वीर का सर्वश्रेष्ठ अंत तो रण में ही है
जो मेरे हाथों मारे गए वे कोई हीन स्तर के योद्धा न थे
और लेखक कहते हैं कि उनकी मृत्यु गौरवपूर्ण थी
और मैं यहाँ समय और आयु द्वारा परास्त होकर विवश पड़ा हूँ
क्या मेरा निरंतर विजयी होना ही मेरी इस स्थिति का कारण है?
मुझे जाना होगा क्यों कि मृत्यु तो अटल है
कोई कितना भी शक्तिशाली हो, उसे गिरना ही है
मेरी ढाल, तलवार और कवच मुझे दे दो
मै इन्हें अपने योग्य उत्तराधिकारी को सौंपना चाहता हूँ
लेकर आओ उसे जो यह धारण करने की योग्यता रखता हो
शीघ्रता अनिवार्य है, क्यों कि मैं पवनवेग से आनेवाले रथ की ध्वनि सुन रहा हूँ
The Dying Warrior
As I lay here in this cosy bed
weak, fragile but not dead
With the messenger of death
desperate to cut off my breath,
my long journey I must recollect,
and there's someone I must select
Barely able to figure out words,
I have written essays with swords
I have stabbed and beheaded men
and fought a fierce lion in its den
Numerous wound marks I carry proudly
are my trophies that shout out loudly
No wound was fatal though I bled a lot
And what defeat ever meant I knew not
I regret now, for I feel it's the battleground
where a warrior's remains should be found
Those slain by me were no mean fighters,
and glorious was their death say writers
And here I am, beaten by time and age
Have my victories brought me to this stage?
But go I must, for certain is death for all
However mighty, everyone is going to fall
Get me my shield, my sword and my armour
Let me hand it over to my worthy successor
Send him who deserves this coveted gear
Hurry up, for I can hear the swift charioteerGet me my shield, my sword and my armour
