The Mind

My mind is a complex machine, born from energy that created the universe. There's a chaos inside my head, sinking me down to low energy level. I wish that I can fool myself into thinking I have a significance, that my existence serve the universe in some way. But a mere chance that happens in zillions of possibilities, a mere random event, that brought me into existence, will one day be what I go back into. I wish that my stardust physical manifestation have a will stronger than the energy that caused the big bang, and that the journey of this piece of flickering light along the space-time continuum will at least have some impact in the galaxy. It won't, cos there's no beginning there's no end, just a vast number of occurrences swimming in a infinitely vast space. And HAPPINESS? That's just a chemical reaction, it have no significance, maybe an infinitesimal point

She:
The world for her is so vast, so open and plenty in her social circle
She live the reality with a carefree soul, like that of a fawn in summer
She danced through the rains and the storms just because she can
She is a gem, treasured so deeply by everyone around her
She set the tone, you could tell from afar when she's not around
She is strong, stronger than anyone he ever came across

He:
The world for him is small, so closed up and none in his circle
He lives in a fantasy with a dreamy soul, like that of an excerpt from a poem
He weathered the rains and the storm because he had no one to hold on to
He's an outcast, mistreated and abused by everyone around him
His existence had no significance, you probably didn't notice him sitting next to you
He is strong too, but his strength is only because he had no one to lean on

And so the two flickering dots flew past each other. But the time unjustly and the universe so unkind, they quickly got pulled apart by circumstances and their way of life. After all, one is a bright light while the other is barely flickering in space. Oh! How I wish to see them together, it'll be like a fairy tale so beautiful and sweet that ends with a happy ending. So I made a wish to the universe, to let the two dots intersect once more before I get old. 'Cos I know this story cannot end here, and I know story like this hasn't existed in this universe
