all around,
in merry shades of yellow,
rage filled red
and sad hues of blue,
she stood in the spotlight
where nothing fell-
not even a single
"Are you okay? "
She saw neither the colours,
nor the raining blocks of words
as her perception was limited
to black
of the numbness she felt
and in the silence,
as she decided to finish her ballad,
she could foresee the applause
it would bring.
