Slowly ever so slowly,
He stole my sanity,
He broke me.
Seemed it a curse to people who behold,
The tale of my life were they untold.
Torments were my bread and soul,
In sheer agony I lived, as whole.
In eternal darkness I used to dwell,
With him,the ruler, my heart used to swell.
One fine day my patience lost hold,
That was the day my wings unfold.
Soared I to the heights as such,
Never to be caged again.
Fortunate was I he taught me a lesson.
